I'm one of those "mama had your records" fans of '60s country, so this was an unexpected delight in my inbox.
Made me wonder who's doing the Opry this week and lo and behold ... Connie and Marty are playing on Friday.
Tempted to book a flight right now.
Nothing against those three, but "Dolly’s world might be a lot smaller than ours." is the correct answer.
There is Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday. And then there's everyone else. Even Linda Ronstadt would tell you that.
