At a prior PDQ Bach concert at the SF Opera House, we all noticed a lot of sirens, but the percussionists were not playing them. When the show was over we went out to the lobby to see the entire street lined with burning police cars and people fighting with the police. It was what would be later called the Dan White Night Riot!
